Linear

Context
Linear is where product and engineering teams track issues, not a live chat surface, so a customer’s message here usually starts life as a bug report or feature request rather than a real-time question. Unless’s AI agent can work inside that same issue tracker, commenting directly on the ticket instead of waiting for someone to relay it from a support tool.
It still runs as one agent across acquisition, retention, expansion, and support, so an issue filed by a customer connects back to the same profile as their support conversation elsewhere, rather than starting out as an anonymous ticket.
When an issue needs engineering judgment rather than an answer, the agent hands it to your team with the full thread attached, including whatever the customer already said.
Key benefits
- Comments where engineering already works: The agent replies directly on Linear issues, so your product team doesn’t have to translate a support ticket into their own tracker by hand.
- Handoff with full context: When an issue needs a person, it reaches your team with the whole thread, not a re-typed summary.
- Bug reports tied to a customer, not just a ticket number: Because the agent tracks one profile per customer, a Linear issue connects back to who filed it and what else they’ve said.
How does it work?
Unless works inside Linear, commenting on issues from the same customer profile it uses everywhere else, and handing an issue to your team with full context when it needs engineering judgment rather than an answer.
