Google Chat

Context
Google Chat is the messaging layer built into Google Workspace, so for a company that already runs on Gmail, Docs, and Calendar, it’s the place people default to for a quick message rather than opening another tool. Unless’s AI agent answers inside that same Chat, in the spaces or direct messages your team or customers already use.
It runs as one agent across acquisition, retention, expansion, and support, so a customer who messaged about a renewal is recognized if they come back later with a support question in a different space.
When a message needs a person, the agent hands it off with the full conversation attached, so your team isn’t asking the customer to repeat themselves before anyone can help.
Key benefits
- No extra tool to open: Because Google Chat lives inside Workspace, your agent answers where people already are between emails and calendar invites, not in a separate app.
- Handoff with full context: When a person is needed, the conversation moves to your team with its full history, not a fresh message with no background.
- Signals from everyday chat: Buying, retention, and upsell signals the agent picks up in Chat route to your team, so nothing sits unread in a space nobody checks.
How does it work?
Unless answers inside Google Chat spaces and direct messages, tracking one profile per customer, spotting signals to route to your team, and handing a conversation to a person with full context when it needs one.
