Context
ClickHelp is a cloud help authoring and documentation tool for creating, hosting, and publishing online manuals, knowledge bases, and API docs. It is used by technical writing teams, and is known for single-sourcing and multi-version publishing.
With Unless, the articles your writers single-source across product versions flow into Living Knowledge, the engine that keeps your business knowledge current, so your AI agent answers from the same documentation your writers maintain, not a snapshot from whenever someone last exported it.
ClickHelp already publishes a help center of its own, which makes it a better comparison than most: Living Knowledge doesn’t replace that, it combines it with everything else you connect, from support tickets to your website, so an answer can draw on your published manuals and on the tickets your team is handling right now, instead of stopping at whichever ClickHelp project a customer happened to land on.
Key benefits
- Better data quality: Unless ingests the article content itself, not the version selector and table-of-contents chrome that surrounds it on a published ClickHelp site.
- Always current: When a technical writer updates an article, Living Knowledge picks it up, so the agent answers from the current version, not one your single-sourcing has since superseded.
How does it work?
As ClickHelp articles change, Unless pulls the updates into Living Knowledge, where they ground your AI customer agent’s answers and feed the public Help Center embedded in it.
Install instructions
Once at the Integrations tab of your Unless dashboard, you can select “Configure” for the Clickhelp integration. This will open a popup where you can connect your Clickhelp account and set up the integration. Once the integration is active, you’ll find a new “Add Clickhelp articles” option in the “Add training source” dropdown in the AI zone.
