Sync GitLab issues into your Content Library automatically
September 7, 2026
Less manual upkeep, a fuller Help Center.
IntegrationsHelp CenterAI skills
Summary Connect your GitLab project and its deployed issues now sync straight into your Content Library, so your release notes and Help Center content stay current without manual work, and your AI agent can answer questions about new features as soon as they ship.
Your Help Center keeps getting easier to manage the rest of the way too: a new Preview button lets you check the whole start page before it goes live, every article inside the AI component now carries its own share link, and adding context to a category makes its translations read more naturally. Flex customers also get a clearer signup flow and always know how long their trial has left.
New Features
- Sync your Content Library from GitLab. Connect your GitLab project and issues carrying a label you choose sync into your Content Library automatically, keeping release notes and Help Center content current without manual work.
- A direct-answer command for Procedures. Give a Procedure a fixed answer for a topic directly, without needing to build a separate question and answer pair just to control what the agent says.
- Share links on Help Center articles. When a visitor reads an article inside the AI component, they can now copy a direct link to share with a colleague or come back to later.
- Tell us who your Flex signup works for. New Flex signups are now asked for the websites their prospects and customers use, so the agent knows who it works for from day one.
Improvements
- Preview your whole Help Center before going live. You can now open and click through your Help Center’s full start page in preview, instead of testing one question at a time, so you can check how it looks and works before your visitors do.
- Choose what a report validates against. If you’ve enabled your Content Library but haven’t made it live yet, you can now choose whether a quality-control report runs against your current live setup or the Content Library itself.
- More natural translations for Help Center categories. Add context to a category and its name, description, and questions translate more naturally into every language, instead of a literal word-for-word rendering.
- See your Flex trial deadline at a glance. Your trial expiry date now shows in the dashboard status bar, so you always know how long you have left to decide before you’re charged.
Bug Fixes
- Team Assistant no longer answers based on a previous ticket when you move quickly between tickets using Freshdesk’s next-ticket arrow.
- New Flex and Fixed accounts now get their Audiences created automatically, so the Audiences page no longer shows as locked and you can build components right away.
- The “How should the AI present this action?” field in a Procedure’s guidance settings now saves correctly instead of clearing itself.
