Context

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard for connecting AI agents to external tools and data. This integration lets you connect your own MCP server, so the agent can work with your APIs and systems directly.

With Unless, your MCP server plugs into Living Context, and your agent can call your own endpoints as part of a conversation. Because you built the server, you decide what it exposes: which endpoints the agent can call on its own, which need a person’s approval first, and which stay off the table entirely.

How does it work?

Unless connects to your MCP server through Living Context, so your agent can call the endpoints you’ve exposed, following whatever permission rules you built into your own server.

Install instructions

Once at the Integrations tab of your Unless dashboard, you can select “Configure” for the MCP server integration. This will open a popup where you can enter your MCP server endpoint and credentials and set up the integration.
