Do — three rules behind correct lockup use
Three constraints partners + press should hold to when placing the Unless lockup in their own surfaces. Follow these and the mark stays recognisable.
- Use
variant="dark"on paper-tone surfaces,variant="light"on navy. - Maintain ≥1× cap-height clearspace around the lockup.
- Pull the lockup live from
<UnlessLockup>- never paste a screenshot.
Don't — the four misuses to avoid
The flips of the Do tab - common misuses we've seen in the wild that damage the mark's legibility or change its meaning. None of these are aesthetic preferences; they break the identity.
- Don't recolour the icon or wordmark - peak blue + anchor ink only.
- Don't apply gradients, shadows, or strokes to the mark.
- Don't rotate, tilt, skew, or stretch the lockup.
- Don't put the lockup on a busy photo - find a calm corner.
Trademark — who owns the mark + how to cite it
The legal entity behind "Unless" + the licence that covers editorial / press use without prior consent.
"Unless" and the Unless mark are trademarks of Unless B.V. (Rocket Launcher B.V.), Amsterdam, NL. Use in editorial / press contexts is permitted; commercial use requires written consent.
